Dear all,
Just interested to find out what if any instruments you all can
play or are learning to play, and what music you all enjoy playing on
them.

Personally I can play the piano/keyboard quite well on which I enjoy
playing stuff by Lynyrd Skynyrd, R.E.M, and lots of old bluesy and rock
and roll stuff.
I also am learning to play the guitar and like also playing Lynyrd
Skynyrd stuff along with Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Nirvana, Pearl Jam,
Soundgarden, and many similar others.

Can't wait to hear some replies

                                                             Ta

                                                               Dan

Hey guys,

Any drummers out there ? I play drums in a rock band, started off copying
Alex Van Halen, moved into a bit of Mitch Mitchell type playing then found
out about Matt Cameron in Soundgarden. Rusty Cage and Outshined are not too
tricky but Jesus Christ Pose is not exactly something you can pick up
overnight !

Other influences include David Grohl (Nirvana), Rage Against the Machine and
Smashing Pumpkins. Anybody with similar tastes - please respond.

Later,
Tiernan.

James,
Mad Season is a side project that includes mike from Pearl Jam and Layne
from Aic and some other musicians I haven't heard of. Mark Lanegan sings
vocals on a couple of tracks. They have a cd out but I cannot remember the
title of it. I bought it a few weeks ago it's pretty good.

James, I have the cd right here in front of me (at my sucky job). It is
called ABOVE and it has this cool drawing on the cover that the Layne man
himself drew. I like it. It's "different".

Could someone out there in big wide net world please tell me some
information about mad season. I know that its Mike from PJ, with a few of
the AIC guys, and they've done a few songs together, but are there any
new developments with these guys.
	thanks,
		Jo.

Mad Season is made up of:
Layne Staley-Alice in Chains,vocals/guitar
Mike McCreedy-Pearl Jam/lead guitar
John Baker-a guy Mike met at rehab(rumor)-bass
Barrett Martin-Screaming Trees-drums
Mark Lanegan-Screaming Trees- sings on two songs

The album came out about six months ago called "above"
The did a couple of small shows in Seatle only, and will most likey not do
anymore.
I did have the fortune to attend the last show they did. It was way cool! I
would recomend buying the album.
