Dear all, Just interested to find out what if any instruments you all can play or are learning to play, and what music you all enjoy playing on them. Personally I can play the piano/keyboard quite well on which I enjoy playing stuff by Lynyrd Skynyrd, R.E.M, and lots of old bluesy and rock and roll stuff. I also am learning to play the guitar and like also playing Lynyrd Skynyrd stuff along with Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and many similar others. I play drums in a rock band, started off copying Alex Van Halen, moved into a bit of Mitch Mitchell type playing then found out about Matt Cameron in Soundgarden. Rusty Cage and Outshined are not too tricky but Jesus Christ Pose is not exactly something you can pick up overnight ! Other influences include David Grohl (Nirvana), Rage Against the Machine and Smashing Pumpkins. Anybody with similar tastes - please respond. Mark Lanegan sings vocals on a couple of tracks. They have a cd out but I cannot remember the title of it. I bought it a few weeks ago it's pretty good.
