Let me know if certain addresses give you problems consistently and I'll see if I can help you out. * I've been dealing with all of the people who send the unsubscribe messages to the list. It's a pain in the ass, and some of them get quite hostile (I got 40 messages from the same guy today, demanding to be unsubscribed), but that's life. If anyone knows of a listproc that I could use, I'd be extremely grateful. It sucks to log in and have gotten 118 new messages in less than 24 hours. * Some people who were removed claim to still be receiving messages. Usually I ask them to forward me the most recent message they received; I almost never get a reply, so I assume they aren't receiving messages any more. * REMINDER: -to unsubscribe, email SAPERL@MIT.EDU -to get the DIGEST version of the list, email SAPERL@MIT.EDU I'll most likely be posting this information weekly, just so everyone knows. * The list archive will soon be moving to a new home. A kind soul (Jon Rosenson of Stargate Industries) has agreed to donate space on his Webserver (http://www.sgi.net) for the archive and the images. I'm very close to blowing my disk quota here at MIT, and they won't give me an increase just for my Web page. Stargate will also most likely mirror the Soundgarden homepage. I'll let everyone know when this move takes place. Well, that's all for now. To: somms@MIT.EDU Thanks to all the members of the mailing list, who pointed out that the sun is indeed not cold. However could chris have meant that even though the sun is warm it was not providing sufficient heat? Like during a cold damp day, or in the winter time. Hence the idea of a cold sun. btw, here is another theme. I'm new to the list (new to this thing called the internet too). But I've been a Garden fan since Louder than Love. I've heard rumors of a new album due out in Europe in October but not out in the US until, January '96. Whats the official word? Is it a live album or studio release? And most importantly, are they going to do a U.S. tour when they are done in Europe?
