I saw the messages from fellow aussies about a-sides being well and truely
in oz and especially at hmv, well it appears that "A very special Christmas"
is also available in oz through hmv. So those of you who want it, and live
in australia, just head on down to hmv. I too prefer to support independent
stores, but I have only seen A very special christmas at hmv.

Nicky

ps, aussies pj tickets go on sale this thursday for there march tour:)

Inflatable Soule has broken up and the beginnings of the break-up occurred
last October just before Soundgarden's did. I.S. happens to be one of my
fave bands, signed or unsigned! For those on the list who don't know or
have never heard of them, I.S. was Peter Cornell along with sisters Katy
and Suzy, drummer Dave Hill, axe Joel Tipke, and bass Bert Byerly....at
least that was the line-up in 94 when we first met them and began to write
about them in our zine. A friend and I used to do a zine on the Seattle
music scene and had the cooperation of SM from the start b/c we went to
Susan first thing w/ our idea. Got to meet and know alot of musicians out
there and the zine ran for little over 2 years. SM provided us with our
news, on Sg, AIC and even PJ. Other managements out there gave us news on
other bands. But that's all over now--we got burned out, etc.

Had the pleasure of seeing IS play many times, even have live audio and
video of them. You're right, Peter does bear a resemblence to younger bro
Chris, but IMHO Peter's better looking!! Too bad they never got a contract
b/c the world would have gone nuts over them--they were a great looking
band. And really nice, sweet people too. Many an hour has been spent
gabbing w/ Peter!

The reason Peter gave that girl wanting an interview Silver Management's #
was that Susan was their manager for quite a while, up till the last year
of the band's existence.

I've offered before to the list, but if anyone out there wants dubs of
Inflatable Soule's Cds, contact me. Peter gave me permission to do that
for new fans. I also have a PO box that Dave the drummer assured me was
still active if anyone would want to send for CDs. I even have permission
to give out Dave's email addie if you wan tit. Peter has one, but forget
it--he hasn't answered email in ages!!!

So...I hope that answered a few questions....Dave and Peter are sort of
working on a new band--last we spoke to Dave they had a guitarist and a
bassist but no name oher than the Peter Cornell Band.
later...deb

OK. For all the people who want to see Ben's awesome doo, go to Seth's
Hater site and check out the images of the live performances. He looks like
one of those guys from the Beastie Boys of you ask me. Even hold's the
 mike the same way.

Hey, if there is anyone here that has a site that has SG MP3's available, and
that work, privy email me, I'd appreciate it. I already have 3.

Subject: GREATEST SOUNDGARDEN FAN

Hey I forgot to tell you guys that in a poll that one of my friends did
at my high school ( for some strange reason...) I was APPLETON WEST HIGH
SCHOOL'S GREATEST SOUNDGARDEN FAN!! wow huh? my friend Jesse Turkow came
in 2nd and my friend Robert Blackburn came in 3rd. People just tell me
he went around asking people who was the biggest SG fan in school and
they replied with those names above , I guess. Oh yeah, at the same time
he asked them who was the biggest Tool fan at West and I came in third.
Oh yeah, this thing was severley isolated to 10th grade, people who knew
me, and my friends. that is all... buh-bye!!

Hmm.. was that stupid or not? tell me wjhat you think...

For any of you who have the Blow Up The Outside boot, what is that 3
minute long intro that SG does before they break into Boot Camp? I
thought it was pretty damn cool, just Ben and Matt playing some really
odd riff while Kim adds a few notes here and there, and Chris singing
something I really can't determine...Anybody?
