This is Alain Johannes here. Our new album comes out in March '99 on A&M
Records. It is called "Enter" and was recorded at our Home Studio. Sorry for
the long break but it wasn't intentional. It took us a while to find a new
label. Meanwhile we are recording with our friend Chris Cornell and having a
great time. If you want to E-mail it's onceeleven@earthlink.net. Thanks for
listening. Alain Johannes

After going through all of my Guitar World magazines, I couldn't find
the
interview with Gavin Suckdale where he mentions something about SG being
a
piece-o-crap. All I remember from it, was the issue from month after in
the "Sounding Board" section of the magazine (in the front). It had a
cartoon of Kim Thayil pissing on a bush, and the person who wrote in
included something about how Bush just does some shallow sexual moans
over
power-chords for money. I wish I could find that issue, it's great.

Did you find that issue, Brian? Inquiring minds want to know :)

When I woke up today at 12:30 I saw the Influences on where he was talking
about his singing, and Applebite. So there is hope that MTV will play it
later on during the day. I didn't get to tape it since I just woke up, turned
the TV on, and saw it. Always nice waking up to his face though :)

Hey Sommsters, as most Soundgarden fans do, I collect b-sides, boots, rarities,
etc. However, I have all that I know of except one song : Toybox. I know it
exists, so PLEASE if you have it respond to me personally and I'll give you my
ICQ # and we can arrange some tradin' to do.

Thanks for keeping the spirit

Most likely has something to do with Adam & Eve and the whole snake
thing. Adam eating the apple and what had happened afterwards ties ni
with the lyrics to the song. Chris likes to make lots of references to
that snake.

"Chris Cornell is obviously an amazing singer. He's probably got the best
rock voice you can have, technically. And occasionally he writes these
fantastic Beatles-y songs, like 'Black Hole Sun' and 'Pretty Noose.'"

That may not be exactly what you're looking for... heh.

I was referring to what was in the sounding board section, but I'm glad
someone found the interview. I could possibly be wrong with what was in the
sounding board section too, but I was just going off of my memory. Hell, if
you want to find that, too...go ahead, knock yourself out. From the image of
Kim pissing on a bush, you get the idea that bush talked smack about SG....
