Can anyone tell me if Chris is coming to sweden?
On chriscornell.com i couldnt find anything about it but on ticnet.se it said Mon 01 Nov 1999

Is this correct? Then why isnt it on chriscornell.com?

I was really hoping that either Chris would sing something on Boggy Depot=
 or
Cantrell play something on EM. That _would_ be sick. Boggy Depot in
particular could have used a real singer at times.

Yeah,
I must say it was enjoyable watching the process. And our man is as dry and
sardonic as ever. That bit with those old folks "yeah, I was in a band."
Some great Chris lines. The video is alright, except I REALLY hate the whole
singer lunging headfirst at the camera thing (anyone with me?) Although there
were some cool moments when the lights would flash on, and his eyes were this
weird electric blue. All in all, if i saw it on MTV I probably wouldn't
change the channel, which is saying quite a bit for MTV.

Be Well,
Matt

P.S. If Chris says videos are a commercial to get someone hyped up about the
album, then wouldn't Making The Video be something to get people hyped up
about the video? So in essence when you see an ad for "Making The Video
w/Chris Cornell" are you infact seeing a commercial for a commercial for a
commercial? Food for thought.

I liked the line at the very end when he said something to the effect that
the boots he had to wear felt weird so he might have to call off the whole
video thing.

Good point about the commercials, Matt! I taped the show, "making the
video" because I was at work and watched it this morning. I am a very
tough sell when I come home from working midnights and generally have been
up for a long period of time and am in the throes of crabbiness. But I
found myself smiling and enjoying the hell out of the show. I thought
Chris looked fit and froggy. Not skinny or sickly but just fine! And he
seemed happy and relaxed. It was good to see. I agree with Matt the video
doesn't do much for me but seeing Chris was GREAT!! and the song is even
growing on me. toni

called Violently Happy. I had to buy it because its a rare thing for me to
find S O U N D G A R D E N bootlegs in southern Florida. The quality of the
bootleg is ok, a little to much bass/reverb going on but it still rocks. Has
anyone ever heard of this bootleg and is it that rare?

yay!!!
fun fun fun!
I loved the making thing. It was such the added bonus for the freaks that
have been waiting a year and a day (I know much longer than that) to see mr.
man! Mainstream or not! I personaly liked the making much better than the
video. He looked better. No offense to the director, but he is not Robert
Rodriguez. I know you wanted the video to look like Desperado, but get over
it. Listening to what Chris was saying in the begining about the girl being
positive and wanting to do postive things... I dunno if that was what he
wanted to get across in the video, but to me she just looked like she had a
horrible influence on people. That point didn't really make it far in my
mind. She was all mean and waify! I'm now gonna become an anorexic pyromanic
if she can't change me. And duh! to whoever said she couldn't change him!
Even without Chris saying that it was mad apparent. Anyway... the "actress"
needs to eat some food and put some clothes on. Dammit Chris get some healthy
black voluptous wimmez in there... like myself! 'Kay, loved the whole driving
home thing under the sheet! He looked great, happy and brainwashed. I'm just
being mean. Rocksha and Clambake aren't all that bad. And was it me, or can I
not read, but did the shooting of the bog take place in Cornell,CA? Watch
your video tapes for me people. I shall correct myself.

<<The video is alright, except I REALLY hate the whole
singer lunging headfirst at the camera thing (anyone with me?)>>

What's up with that? He looked like Jewel or something. And all that
fluorescent lighting made him look mad old. And what's with the Jesus Christ
Pose. Write a fuckin song about how much you hate people who do that, and
then do it over and over again. I love you anyway.

btw... Mr. Cornell is on the cover of Guitar One mazine. The article's pretty
cool. There were a couple of guitar things I didn't understand, cuz I am not
a musician, and have no rhthym. But the questions were things that I would
have liked to know. I think it's in that article that he says something like
"Everyone was pretty much expecting something like the 'Seasons' song on the
Singles Soundtrack." and he wasn't feeling that. Well shame on me for wanting
that! There's also a lil interview with Clambake (ya know Alain). He's
climbing up the ladder of Hedgehog likability. They talk about Soundgarden
and his writing skills. I don't know, I like it. He's also got on those pants
that he keeps wearing in RAYGUN and the video and some other magazine, Rock
Sound or something like that. Coal Chamber's on the cover (shudder). I
haven't read that one yet. Check 'em out. I like his pants. And his boots.
And the boots that aren't his. And that brown sweater. And his hair his mommy
didn't comb. But here's the thing about the Rock Sound article. The first
coupla lines say something about him living in Seattle. But in RAYGUN it says
that he was brainwashed and moved to North Cali (not the brainwashing part).
I'm surely confused.

He stills looks yummy though. He should be in TEEN BEAT! Watch me jinx him.
Sorry! I still love ya buddy! No matter what!

I personally thought the part where chris gets behind the wheel was
fucking funny as hell. I busted up laughing out loud. I knew chris was a
funny guy, listen to the sound clip on seth's site about using the spoon
samples, but he was crazy last night. I also loved the part when the
people of Cornell, CA were talking to him. The old lady was all "So i
guess this is your town huh?" and Chris responds "Yep, and now i'm gonna
start taxing you all." hahahah And the old guys comment about "You were
in another band of something but then you quit." HAHAHAHAHAH

So, in less than a week, Chris et. al will be playing in Cambridge,
MA (more specifically, in a Harvard building!). The really weird

Will anyone be taping this show (audio or video?)?? I'm pretty sure
the "security" at Sanders Theater is lax (even though the official
policy is "no recording devices allowed"). I would try if i knew how
and if i had the equipment.. but a taping would be really really
nice. maybe he'll do something cool since it's the first performance

It's funny that you guys think that. I thouhgt he looked a helluva lot
healthier than he did by the end of the DOTU tour. Back then I thought he was
going to day of malnutrition. As they say, man cannot live on Cape Cods and

I also think Chris' voice sounds stronger than it has since Bandmotorfinger.

I agree with you he is definitely looks better than he did in 97. He is
still skinny but he looks healthier and fit. All that touring can wear on
you.

His voice seems to be very healthy also. If you remember it was getting
really bad in 95 on the Superunknown tour-so bad that they had to cancel a
few shows. We all remember that it did not sound healthy at all on the
Saturday Night Live performance. I think the downtime since the break up
has really help him recover.
