As the contest to win free tickets to see Soundgarden play at the
Showbox on June 20 was announced, the fan club sent the following

In the tradition of keeping in touch with the fans and playing music
for fun, Soundgarden will play the reborn Showbox Theater for an
intimate audience of 800 people (you must be 21 and over - sorry). The
show is on Thursday June 20, 1996. If you are in the Seattle area, the
tickets will go on sale 4:00 PM Friday, June 14th at three Blockbuster
stores - Seattle, Bellevue, and Federal Way. These will be the ONLY
outlets. At the same time (4:00 PM Pacific time), you can buy tickets
from anywhere in the world by calling Ticketmaster at 206 628 0888.
Convenience charges will apply. However, Ticketmaster will donate back
50% of the convenience charges to the benefit pool.
Opening the show will be Loosegroove Recording artists Devilhead.
